This virtual event will be held on Zoom on\u00a0<strong>Tuesday, April 23rd<\/strong>, from\u00a0<strong>9AM to 11AM EST<\/strong>(Montreal),\u00a0<strong>2PM to 4PM<\/strong>\u00a0(UK), and\u00a0<strong>3PM to 5PM<\/strong>\u00a0(Brussels\/Paris).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"fonts-plugin-block \" style=\"font-size: 17px;line-height: 1.4\">The webinar will feature a round table discussion with the contributors to a recent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.etui.org\/publications\/making-work-better\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">special issue of\u00a0<em>Transfer: European Review of Labour and Research<\/em>\u00a0(2023 &#8211; 29:3)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0focusing on making work better. Agnieszka Piasna, senior researcher in the Economic, Employment and Social Policies Unit at ETUI, will also participate in the discussion, and Gregor Murray, director of CRIMT, will moderate.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"fonts-plugin-block \" style=\"font-size: 17px;line-height: 1.4\">Key topics to be explored during the webinar include why work needs to be better (but is often worse); why better work makes for better societies; and union and public policy strategies to achieve better work.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"fonts-plugin-block \" style=\"font-size: 17px;line-height: 1.4\"><strong><u><strong>To register for this event<\/strong><\/u><\/strong>, please click on the button.
