Webinar | Democratizing Work: Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence and New Measurement Tools

📅 Thursday, December 3, 2026
🕤 9:00-10:00 a.m. (Montreal) | 3:00-4:00 p.m. (Paris)
💻 Online – Zoom

The CRIMT and #DemocratizingWork invite you to a workshop exploring the connections between workplace democracy, sustainable development and artificial intelligence, as well as new tools for measuring the democratization of businesses.

Drawing in particular on the recent report by France’s High Commission for Strategy and Planning, Comment associer les salariés aux décisions stratégiques des entreprises ? (How Can Employees Be Involved in Companies’ Strategic Decisions?), this workshop will bring together researchers to discuss several key issues: new frameworks for measuring workplace democracy, including the Democratic Development Index; the potential of artificial intelligence to foster employee participation in decision-making within large corporations; and the connections between workplace democracy and the ecological transition.
