CRIMT-ETUI Joint Webinar : Making Work Better – 23 April 2024, 9AM to 11AM (Montreal time)

The European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) and the CRIMT Partnership on Experimentation for Better Work cordially invite you to participate in the upcoming joint-webinar entitled: Making Work Better: Challenges and Strategies. This virtual event will be held on Zoom on Tuesday, April 23rd, from 9AM to 11AM EST(Montreal), 2PM to 4PM (UK), and 3PM to 5PM (Brussels/Paris).

The webinar will feature a round table discussion with the contributors to a recent special issue of Transfer: European Review of Labour and Research (2023 – 29:3) focusing on making work better. Agnieszka Piasna, senior researcher in the Economic, Employment and Social Policies Unit at ETUI, will also participate in the discussion, and Gregor Murray, director of CRIMT, will moderate. 

Key topics to be explored during the webinar include why work needs to be better (but is often worse); why better work makes for better societies; and union and public policy strategies to achieve better work.
