November 11, 2025 – Montreal
CRIMT (the Interuniversity Research Centre on Globalization and Work) is pleased to partner with the Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources (CIRHR) at the University of Toronto for the Quebec Forum of the National Assembly on Workplace Democracy, to be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Rachelle and Alain Paris Amphitheatre, HEC Montréal (Hélène Desmarais Building, 501 De La Gauchetière Street West).
This event, dedicated to advancing workplace democracy and amplifying workers’ voices, aims to foster a national dialogue on practices and institutions that promote greater employee participation in workplace decision-making.
The forum will be moderated by Rafael Gomez, Director of the CIRHR, and Lucie Morissette, Professor at HEC Montréal and co-researcher at CRIMT. The session will feature a presentation of the Assembly’s findings, a roundtable bringing together researchers, union representatives, and managers, and an open dialogue with the audience.
The event will be offered in person and online, with simultaneous interpretation. A networking reception will follow the discussion.
