CRIMT is pleased to invite you to a new session of its Author Meets Readers series featuring Migrant Work by Another Name: Differential Inclusion and Precarity under Canada’s International Mobility Program, by Leah Vosko.
This book examines recent transformations in Canada’s international mobility policies and their implications for migrant workers. It offers a timely reflection on the intersections between migration, precarious work, and labour market regulation in the contemporary Canadian context.
The discussion will bring together the author, Leah Vosko (York University), and invited scholars in the field. Gregor Murray (Université de Montreal) will moderate the event, while Fabiola Mieres (ILO), Marco Rocca (CNRS – Université de Strasbourg), and Dalia Gesualdi-Fecteau (Université de Montreal) will participate as featured readers/respondents, engaging with the book’s key arguments and contributions.
Registration is free but mandatory
