The CRIMT is pleased to invite you to a new webinar in its ‘Authors Meet Readers’ series. Judy Fudge (McMaster University) will present her new book « Constructing Modern Slavery. Law, Capitalism, and Unfree Labour ». The book is available in open access on the Cambridge University Press website.
Following Professor Fudge’s presentation, three researchers will share their perspectives on the book, drawing on their experience or their own research: Ingrid Landau (Monash University), Genevieve LeBaron (Simon Fraser University), and Jérôme Lussier (Université de Montréal). The discussion will be moderated by Dalia Gesualdi-Fecteau (Université de Montréal), Director of CRIMT.
The webinar will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM (Montreal time) via Zoom.
